Our family had a wonderful time hiking in the beautiful forests around Abernethy Golf Club, just 44 km away. The holiday home was cozy and clean, providing a comfortable base for our outdoor adventures. It was the perfect location for exploring the area, with easy access to Speyside, Moray, and the Cairngorms. Great value for money and highly recommended for a family getaway.
My kids wished there was a washing machine in the property for longer stays.

The cottage was well presented and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed playing Trivial Pursuit one night. the location was great for exploring Aberlour and Rothes, and the Glen Grant gardens were a must-visit, especially for the interactive nature hunt for kids.
Felt welcome, nothing to complain about.

Comfortable and cozy cottage, perfect for a family of four. Great value for money and a great location for exploring Speyside, Moray, and the Cairngorms.- Set back from the road, so noise was not an issue.
No washing machine, which would have been helpful for a week-long stay with kids. Some minor maintenance issues, such as loose toilet seats and a shower drain that needed unblocking.

Loved exploring the hiking trails nearby. The tennis court was a nice touch, even though I don't play. Guess I'll have to sharpen my skills for next time.
Who needs phone signal or wifi anyway? Such a hassle to be disconnected from the world.

Enjoyed hiking nearby, despite getting lost. Airports nearby provided constant noise. Kitchenware was useful for throwing dishes in frustration.
I absolutely loved the non-existent footpath along the busy main road. So scenic!

The location of the cottage was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby village and beautiful woodland paths to explore. We were fortunate to have great weather during our stay, which allowed us to make the most of the lovely seating area at the back of the cottage. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine. the beds in the cottage were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of adventures.
There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the road leading up to the cottage was riddled with potholes, making the journey a bit uncomfortable.

We recently stayed at a charming cottage in the beautiful Craigellachie area. The cottage itself was well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The log fire in the living room was a delightful touch, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring the nearby distilleries. The beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for all of us.
Despite a couple of minor issues such as a leaking sink, we were able to fix it ourselves, and it did not affect our overall experience. Additionally, the cottage lacked some small amenities like curtains in one room and loose toilet seats.

We were thrilled with the value for money at Dandaleith Cottage No.1. The room was cozy, clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, and it was just a short drive away from shops and restaurants. The host was so lovely and accommodating, making us feel right at home.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better at the cottage would have been having a cheese grater and a mixing bowl for eggs or salads. Other than that, we were very happy with our overall experience.
